We are specialized in carbon fiber molding products of various shapes for customers.
Only need to provide 3D drawings such as STP or lGS format drawings, or provide original products. We will help you choose the most appropriate process according to thestrength, precision and capacity of the products. Our current processes include Hot Press Forming, Autoclave and Resin infusion.
Main Molding Technology
Made of P20 steel, divide into upper and lower mold. The prepreg are placed between two molds. Works with high pressure and heat to form and cure the part.
Advantage:
*High production efficiency
*High dimensional accuracy
*Low product price
*Mold durability
Disadvantage:
*Mold cost high
*Appearance is not as good as autoclave
Aluminum molds are usually used. The prepreg is placed on the mold, and vacuum induction creates negative pressure, which forces the resin into the fiber.
Advantage:
*Perfect appearance
*Support large size products
*Stable forming quality
*Support for relatively complex structures
Disadvantage:
*Long production period
*High product price
Resin molds are usually used. A dry fabric, strategically placed within a mold, using a film creating a vacuum-tight environment, then infused with a liquid resin.
Advantage:
*Low mold cost
*Support large size products
*Support for relatively complex structures
*Suitable for proofing
Disadvantage:
*The quality is not stable
*Mold is not durable
Surface Finish
Carbon fiber composites can be finished with a variety of surface treatments to meet different aesthetic and functional requirements. Here are some common types of surface finishes for carbon fiber, each of these finishes can be selected based on the desired balance between aesthetic appeal, durability, and specific functional requirements of the application.
Production Proces
The production process for carbon fiber molding involves several steps that ensure the material's high strength and lightweight properties are optimized. Here's an overview of the typical carbon fiber molding production process.
This process ensures that carbon fiber parts have high strength-to-weight ratios, making them ideal for aerospace, automotive, sports equipment, and other high-performance applications.
